Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cruise control module. Refer to Cruise Control Module Replacement in Cruise Control.

  2. Object Number: 789908  Size: SH
  3. Support the engine at the oil pan with a floor jack and a block of wood.

  4. Object Number: 796273  Size: SH
  5. Remove the engine mount to body nuts (1).

  6. Object Number: 796273  Size: SH
  7. Remove the engine mount to bracket bolts (2).
  8. Remove the engine mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 796281  Size: SH
  1. Using a dowel (1), align the engine mount (2) to the engine mount bracket.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the engine mount nuts (1).

  4. Object Number: 796273  Size: SH
  5. Install the engine mount bolts (2).
  6. Tighten

        • Tighten the engine mount nuts to 66 N·m (49 lb ft). .
        • Tighten the engine mount bolts to 110 N·m (81 lb ft)
