Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Lamp Replacement Pontiac

1. Remove the front floor console cupholder/storage compartment. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement in Instrument Panel Gages, and Console.



2. Rotate the socket counterclockwise to remove it from the bracket.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket.

1. Install the bulb to the socket, pressing until fully seated.



2. Position the socket to the bracket.
3. Rotate the socket clockwise to secure it to the bracket.
4. Install the front floor console cupholder/storage compartment. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Lamp Replacement Oldsmobile

1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.



2. Pull rearward on the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate in order to access the storage compartment lamp.



3. Rotate the socket counterclockwise. Remove the socket from the storage compartment.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket.

1. Install the bulb to the socket.
2. Place the socket into the storage compartment opening. Press the socket rearward in vehicle to engage the retainer.



3. Install the IP accessory trim plate. Verify that the retainers are fully engaged.
4. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
