GM Service Manual Online
For 1990-2009 cars only

The modular headliner consists of a one-piece composite substrate covered with a foam cloth facing. The construction of the composite substrate does not allow for replacement of the cloth facing and requires that the headlining substrate and cloth be service as a complete assembly. The wiring harness for roof lighting and the sunroof (if equipped) is attached to the back of the headliner and can be serviced separately. The headlining is held in place in the rear by a locator attached to the headliner. Additional support is provided in front by the auxiliary sunshades and interior attachments. If equipped with a sunroof, there will be four patches of dual lock material at the front and sides of the sunroof opening. If locator at rear becomes damaged during removal, obtain a locator repair kit through GMSPO prior to installation.
