Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Replacement Oldsmobile

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 617337 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door trim panel from the inner door panel . Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment release switch.
  3. Depress the rear compartment release switch retaining tabs.
  4. Push the rear compartment release switch out of the door trim panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 617337 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear compartment release switch to the front door panel.
  2. Press the rear compartment release switch into the door trim panel until retainer tabs are secured.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the rear compartment release switch.
  4. Install the door trim panel to the inner door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel from the inner door panel . Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment release switch.
  3. Depress the rear compartment release switch retaining tabs.
  4. Push the rear compartment release switch out of the door trim panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 612751 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear compartment release switch to the front door panel.
  2. Press the rear compartment release switch into the door trim panel until retainer tabs are secured.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the rear compartment release switch.
  4. Install the door trim panel to the inner door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
