Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the lumbar support knob from the actuator, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back recliner handle from the recliner mechanism. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
  4. Remove the power seat switch bezel from the cushion cover, if equipped.

  5. Unfasten the J-hook retainers from the sides of the seat cushion cover.

    6. Object Number: 740630 Size: SH
  6. Unfasten the J-hook retainers for the cushion cover from the seat frame.

    7. Object Number: 740575 Size: SH
  7. Route the rear seat cushion cover forward between the seat back and the cushion.

    8. Object Number: 740577 Size: SH
  8. Unfasten the hook and loop strips which retain the cushion cover to the pad.
  9. Remove the cushion cover from the pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 740577 Size: SH
  1. Position the cushion cover to the pad.

    2. Object Number: 740575 Size: SH
  2. Route the rear cushion cover rearward between the seat back and the pad.

    3. Object Number: 740630 Size: SH
  3. Fasten the J-hook retainers for the cushion cover to the seat frame.

    4. Object Number: 740588 Size: SH
  4. Fasten the J-hook retainers to the sides of the cushion cover.

    5. Object Number: 740609 Size: SH
  5. Fasten the hook and loop strips which retain the cushion cover to the pad. Press the strips into place until fully seated.
  6. If the vehicle is equipped with power seats, perform the following procedure:
    7. • With a sharp utility knife, cut an opening in the seat cushion cover for the power seat switch.
    • Install the power seat switch bezel to the cushion cover.
  7. Install the lumbar support knob to the actuator, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
  8. Install the seat back recliner handle to the recliner mechanism. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
