Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement Pontiac

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 815074  Size: SH
  1. With a flat-bladed tool push in and lift up to release the front retaining clip for the accessory switch plate (1).
  2. Remove the accessory switch plate (1) from the door trim panel
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the power window switch (3).
  4. Release the power window switch retaining tabs.
  5. Remove the power window switch (3) from the accessory switch plate (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 815074  Size: SH
  1. Install the power window switch (3) to the accessory switch plate (1).
  2. Press the power window switch (3) into the accessory switch plate (1) until retaining tabs are engaged.
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the power window switch (3).
  4. Install the accessory switch plate (1) to the door trim panel.
  5. Press the accessory switch plate (1) into the door trim panel until retaining clips are engaged.

Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement Oldsmobile

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lower switch bezel trim screws.
  2. Pull down to remove the lower switch bezel trim panel.

  3. Object Number: 585378  Size: SH
  4. Using a small flat-bladed tool, at the rear of the switch, push in and lift up to release the rear clip.
  5. Remove the rear door power window switch bezel from the rear door trim panel.

  6. Object Number: 736534  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear door power window switch .
  8. Release the rear door power window switch retainers.
  9. Remove the rear door power window switch from the bezel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear door power window switch to the rear door power window switch bezel, pressing into place until fully seated.

  2. Object Number: 736534  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the rear door power window switch .

  4. Object Number: 585378  Size: SH
  5. Install the rear door power window switch bezel (1) to the rear door trim panel. Ensure that the retainers are locked into place.
