Door Handle Bezel Replacement Pontiac

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 332001  Size: SH
  1. Remove the screw (1) from the bezel.
  2. Pull the front of the bezel out of the door trim panel (2).
  3. Lift the door handle and remove the bezel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 332001  Size: SH
  1. Push the bezel into the trim panel, making sure the rear tabs engage and press until fully seated.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the door handle bezel screw (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front/rear door handle bezel screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screw from the front/rear door handle bezel.
  2. Slide the bezel around the front door handle in order to remove the bezel from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 332001  Size: SH
  1. Slide the bezel around the front/rear door handle in order to install the bezel to the door.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.   3. Install the front/rear door handle bezel screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front/rear door handle bezel screw to 2 N·m (10 lb in).
