Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 777999 Size: SH
  1. Remove the right rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the rear window defog connectors from the glass.
  3. Disconnect the body wiring harness connector.
  4. Disconnect the radio antenna cable.

  5. Remove the bolt.

    6. Object Number: 777987 Size: SH
  6. Disengage the tab on the module from the opening. Remove the radio antenna module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 777987 Size: SH
  1. Insert the tab on the module to the opening.

    2. Object Number: 777974 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the radio antenna module bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Attach the radio antenna cable.
  4. Attach the body wiring harness connector.
  5. Attach the rear window defog connectors to the glass.
  6. Install the right rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
