Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 176146  Size: SH
  1. Position the front bucket seats completely forward.
  2. Remove the rear bolts from the seat adjuster.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the power seat, if equipped, and to the seat belt.
  4. Tilt the front bucket seats to a full recline position.
  5. Disengage the track hooks from the floor pan retainers.
  6. Remove the front bucket seats from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the front bucket seats to the vehicle.
  2. Tilt the seats to the full recline position and engage the tracks to the retainers in the floor pan.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the power seat, if equipped, to and seat belt.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the rear bolts to the seat adjuster.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

  7. Inspect the seats for proper operation.
  8. Position the front bucket seats to the original position.
