Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 604730 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Important: Note the location of the hoses.

  2. Disconnect the yellow vacuum hose (1) and red vacuum hose (2) from the mode actuator.

    3. Object Number: 604614 Size: SH
  3. Remove the recirculation actuator.
    4. 2.1. Lift the actuator lock tab.
    2.2. Slide off the actuator.

  4. Remove the actuator linkage from the mode door lever.

    5. Squeeze the tabs on the lever in order to remove the linkage.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 604733 Size: SH
  1. Install the actuator linkage to the mode door lever.

    2. Object Number: 604614 Size: SH
  2. Slide the mode actuator onto the mounting bracket until the tab locks.

    3. Object Number: 604730 Size: SH
  3. Connect the yellow vacuum hose (1) and the red vacuum hose (2) to the mode actuator.
  4. Install the instrument panel I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
