Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the left front wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.

  4. Object Number: 414963  Size: SH
  5. Install a jackstand and a block of wood to support the transaxle.

  6. Object Number: 475848  Size: SH
  7. Remove the thru-bolt from the transmission mount.
  8. Unthread the rear upper mount bolt and leave in place.
  9. Remove the remaining three mount bolts.
  10. Remove the mount.

Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer the rear upper mount to the new mount.

  2. Object Number: 475858  Size: SH
  3. Position the mount and start the rear upper bolt into the threads.

  4. Object Number: 475854  Size: SH
  5. Install the remaining three bolts.

  6. Object Number: 475848  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Tighten all four of the mount bolts.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 66 N·m (41 lb ft).

  9. Install the mount thru-bolt.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the mount thrubolt to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  11. Remove the jackstand and the wood block.
  12. Install the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  13. Install the left tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  14. Lower the vehicle.
