Inspect for a leaking coolant recovery hose or reservoir, refer to Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement .

Is the reservoir or the hose leaking?

Inspect for leaking hoses or connections, refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .

Are the hoses or are the connections leaking?

Inspect for a leaking water pump seal or gasket, refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .

Inspect for a leaking cylinder head gasket or improper bolt torque, refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .

Are the gaskets OK and are the bolts torqued correctly?

  1. Install new gaskets (if required).
  2. Torque the bolts to the specifications.
