Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  7. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  9. Remove the rear door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  10. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  11. Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  12. Remove the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  13. Remove the rear door check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  14. Remove the rear door wiring harness. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

  15. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.
  16. With an assistant, lift the rear door up off the body side hinges.
  17. Remove the rear door side hinges. Refer to Rear Side Door Hinge Replacement - Door Side .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1256440 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door side hinges. Refer to Rear Side Door Hinge Replacement - Door Side .
  2. With an assistant, lower the rear door down onto the body side hinge straps.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge keeper strap bolts to 25 N·m (18.4 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear door wiring harness. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  5. Install the rear door check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  6. Install the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  7. Install the rear door speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  8. Install the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  9. Install the rear door outside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  10. Install the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  11. Install the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  12. Install the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  13. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  14. Install the rear door window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  15. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  16. Install the rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  17. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
