Tip
Apply pipe sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the drain plug.

Tighten
27 N·m (20 lb ft)

Tip

1. Apply pipe sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the drain plug.
2. Install the drain plug before installing the fill plug if refilling the transfer case.
3. Refill with the correct fluid. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
