Removal Procedure

    Important: Do NOT swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock®, and "XM Theftlock®" will display.

  1. Lower the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.

    2. Object Number: 1237407 Size: SH
  2. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

    3. Object Number: 1237408 Size: SH
  3. Remove the antenna electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

    4. Object Number: 1236121 Size: SH
  4. Remove the nuts retaining the receiver to the insulator panel.
  5. Remove the receiver from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1237408 Size: SH
  1. Position the receiver near the insulator panel.
  2. Install the antenna electrical connector (1) to the receiver.

    3. Object Number: 1237407 Size: SH
  3. Install the electrical connector (1) to the receiver.

    4. Object Number: 1236121 Size: SH
  4. Install the receiver to the insulator panel.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the nuts retaining the receiver to the insulator panel.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  6. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side.
  7. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
