Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1339999 Size: SH
  1. Remove the license plate pocket. Refer to Rear License Plate Pocket Replacement .
  2. Cut the crimped end off the liftgate handle pin.
  3. Remove the liftgate handle pin.
  4. Remove the liftgate handle.

    5. Object Number: 1340031 Size: SH
  5. Remove the liftgate handle lever bracket.

    6. Object Number: 1340003 Size: SH
  6. Remove the liftgate handle spring.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1340031 Size: SH
  1. Install the license plate handle lever bracket into the slot in the license plate pocket.

    2. Object Number: 1340003 Size: SH
  2. Install the liftgate handle into the license plate pocket.
  3. Install the liftgate handle spring to the liftgate handle.

    4. Object Number: 1340026 Size: SH
  4. Install a new liftgate handle pin.
  5. Crimp the liftgate handle pin with long nose pliers.
  6. Install the license plate pocket. Refer to Rear License Plate Pocket Replacement .
