Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement LWB

1. Remove the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
2. Remove the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement.
3. Remove the trim panel - rear quarter lower. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.



4. Remove the upper quarter trim retaining torx screw cover (3).
5. Remove the upper quarter trim retaining torx screw (2).
6. Detach the quarter panel trim (1).



7. Remove the retractor cover (3) by disengaging the retainers.
8. Remove the upper quarter trim panel (2) retaining torx screws (1).
9. Working from the top of the upper quarter trim panel disengage and remove the trim panel (2).

Important: When installing the upper quarter panel trim, ensure that the seat belt is correctly fed through the seat belt access hole located in the lower section (3) of the trim panel.

1. Install the upper quarter trim panel (2) by firmly pushing it into the body panel retainers.
2. Install the upper quarter panel retaining torx screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the torx screws to 2.0  N·m (18 lb in).

3. Install the retractor cover (3) by engaging the retainers.



4. Install the quarter panel trim (1).
5. Install the retaining torx screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the torx screw to 2.0  N·m (18 lb in).

6. Install the retaining torx screw cover (3).
7. Install the quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.
8. Install the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement.
9. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.

Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement SWB

1. Remove the seat back assembly. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .
2. Remove the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement .
3. Remove the trim panel - rear quarter lower. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .



4. Remove the retaining torx screw cover (1).
5. Remove the upper quarter trim panel retaining torx screw (2).



6. Working from the top of the upper quarter trim panel (1) disengage the retaining trim clips from the lower section (2).



7. Remove the lower section retaining torx screw (1).
8. Remove the trim panel (2).

Important: When installing the upper quarter panel trim, ensure that the seat belt is correctly fed through the seat belt access hole.

1. Install the lower section of the upper quarter trim panel (2).

Tighten
Tighten the torx screw (1) to 2.0  N·m (18 lb in).





Important: Make sure datum pins on the upper trim line up with the hole on the mid trim.

2. Install the upper quarter trim panel (1) by firmly pushing it into the lower section of the trim panel (2).



3. Install the upper quarter panel retaining torx screw (2).

Tighten
Tighten the retaining torx screw to 2.0  N·m (18 lb in).

4. Install the retaining torx screw cover (1).
5. Install the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Front Seat Belt Replacement .
6. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
7. Attach the rear door weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
