Blower Motor Replacement LHD

1. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .



3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.



4. Disconnect the blower motor processor electrical connector.



5. Remove the blower motor retaining screws (1).



6. Remove the blower motor.

1. Install the blower motor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the blower motor retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).




3. Connect the blower motor processor electrical connector.



4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
5. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
6. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .

Blower Motor Replacement RHD

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

1. Remove the glove box assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
2. Remove the left floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .



3. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (1).



4. Remove the blower motor to blower assembly retaining screws (1).



5. Remove the blower motor (2) from the blower assembly (1).

1. Install the blower motor (2) to the blower assembly (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




2. Install the blower motor to blower assembly retaining screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m(18lb in).




3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (1).
4. Install the left floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Left Side .
5. Install the glove box assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
