Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the plenum chamber cover panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1951000 Size: SH
  2. Detach the leaf screen housing retainer (1) from the leaf screen housing (2).

    3. Important: Remove the leaf screen housing retainer (1) from the leaf screen housing (2), by lifting the leaf screen housing retainer (1) upwards.

  3. Remove the leaf screen housing retainer (1).

    4. Object Number: 1951002 Size: SH

    Important: Remove the leaf screen (1) from the leaf screen housing (2), by lifting the leaf screen (1) upwards.

  4. Remove the leaf screen (1) from the leaf screen housing (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1951002 Size: SH

    Important: To install the leaf screen (1), slide the leaf screen (1) downwards into the leaf screen housing (2).

  1. Install the leaf screen (1) into the leaf screen housing (2).

    2. Object Number: 1955671 Size: SH

    Important: Make sure that the rear tang on the leaf screen housing retainer (1) is correctly positioned in the leaf screen housing (2) and the leaf screen housing retainer (1) is correctly attached to the leaf screen housing (2) to avoid an induced rattle condition.

  2. Install the leaf screen housing retainer (1) to the leaf screen housing (2).
  3. Install the plenum chamber cover panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement.
