Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2047924 Size: SH

    Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  1. Install a suitable liftgate brace to the vehicle.
  2. Using both hands, carefully disengage the headlining rear trim panel retainer forward edge to body retaining clips (1).
  3. Remove the headlining rear trim panel retainer (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  1. Position the headlining rear trim panel retainer (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Carefully engage the headlining rear trim panel retainer to body retaining clips (1). An audible click will confirm correct installation.
  3. Ensure the trailing edge of the headlining rear trim panel is correctly engaged into the liftgate opening seal.
  4. Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.
