Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement Sportwagon

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 2048204  Size: SH
  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Lift the rear compartment floor panel carpet (2) up using the rear compartment floor panel carpet handle (1).
  3. Unclip the rear compartment floor panel carpet tether button (5) and thread the rear compartment floor panel carpet tether (4) out of the rear compartment floor panel carpet pad eye (3).

  4. Object Number: 2152670  Size: SH
  5. Lift the rear compartment floor panel carpet (1) up and out of the liftgate opening (4), disengaging the rear compartment floor panel carpet hooks (2) from the rear compartment floor panel centre support foam hook housings (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2152670  Size: SH

    Important: Make sure the rear compartment floor panel carpet hooks (2) engage into the rear compartment floor panel centre support foam hook housings (3).

  1. Install the rear compartment floor panel carpet (1) through the liftgate opening (4).

  2. Object Number: 2048206  Size: SH
  3. Thread the rear compartment floor panel carpet tether (3) through the rear compartment floor panel carpet pad eye (2) and clip the rear compartment floor panel carpet tether button (4).
  4. Lower the rear compartment floor panel carpet (1) to is original position making sure it is correctly seated.

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the luggage compartment lid.

  2. Object Number: 1939246  Size: SH
  3. Pull the strap (1) on the rear compartment floor panel carpet assembly (2) and lift the rear edge upward.
  4. Lift and remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet assembly (2) from the rear compartment.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to General Repair Instructions in the Preface section.

  1. Install the rear compartment floor panel carpet assembly (2).
  2. Firmly press down on the rear compartment floor panel carpet assembly (2) ensuring correct fitment with quarter panels.
  3. Close the luggage compartment lid.
