Rear Compartment Lid Emblem/Nameplate Replacement LHD

Important: Protect the paint and body work with tape or a clean cloth. Failure to do so may result in damage to the paint work.




1. To assist in the removal of the rear compartment lid emblem, warm the rear compartment lid emblem with a suitable tool.

Important: The rear compartment lid emblem has two locating pins (2). Avoid damage to the pins when removing the rear compartment lid emblem.

Important: Take care not to damage the paint work when prying the rear compartment lid emblem from the rear compartment lid.

2. Use a suitable tool to carefully prise the rear compartment lid emblem (1) from the rear compartment lid.
3. Remove any remaining adhesive from the rear compartment lid and clean the surface with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.

Important: Use specification HN2021 or equivalent.

1. If reusing the rear compartment lid emblem, clean the rear compartment lid emblem with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.

1.1.	Apply new polyethylene double sided tape to the back of the rear compartment lid emblem.

1.2.	Trim back the tape to the inner edge of the rear compartment lid emblem.

Important: Do not allow the adhesive tape to come in contact with any dirt or foreign matter.

2. Peel the backing from the adhesive tape.



3. Apply the rear compartment lid emblem (1) to the position shown, making sure that the locating pins (2) are in position.
4. Firmly press the rear compartment lid emblem into place for 30 seconds to make sure proper adhesion of the rear compartment lid emblem.
