Body Side Roof Drip Molding Replacement Sportwagon

Important: Carefully remove the roof drip moulding, failure to do so will result in damage to the roof drip moulding.

1. Open the front and rear doors of the vehicle on the relevant side.



2. Remove the body side roof drip moulding to vehicle retaining screw (1).




Important: Take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle when prying the roof drip moulding from the vehicle.

3. Use a suitable tool to carefully remove the roof drip moulding, starting from the front of the vehicle, by prying the roof drip moulding retaining clips (1) away from the vehicle.
4. Remove the roof drip moulding from the vehicle.

1. Clean the roof drip gutter with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.
2. Install the roof drip moulding starting at the rear of the moulding.




Important: Make sure that the rear of the body side roof moulding (2) is correctly positioned on the body side stationary window locating tab (1).

3. Install the body side roof drip moulding (2) to the body side stationary window locating tab (1).



4. Install the remaining roof drip moulding retaining clips (1) working from the rear to the front of the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




5. Install the body side roof drip moulding to vehicle retaining screw (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

6. Close the front and rear doors of the vehicle on the relevant side.

Body Side Roof Drip Molding Replacement Sedan

Important: Carefully remove the roof drip moulding, failure to do so will result in damage to the roof drip moulding.

1. Open the front and rear doors of the vehicle on the relevant side.




Important: Take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle when prying the roof drip moulding from the vehicle.

2. Use a suitable tool to carefully remove the roof drip moulding, starting from the front of the vehicle, by prying the roof drip moulding retaining clips (1) away from the vehicle.
3. Remove the roof drip moulding (2) from the vehicle.

1. Clean the roof drip gutter with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.
2. Install the roof drip moulding (1) starting at the rear of the moulding.




Important: Make sure that the rear datum pin is secure and in the correct position.

3. Install the body side roof drip moulding (1) rear datum pin (2) to the vehicle.



4. Install the remaining roof drip moulding retaining clips (1) working from the rear to the front of the vehicle.
5. Close the front and rear doors of the vehicle on the relevant side.
