Radio Antenna Replacement Sedan

1. Remove the headlining trim assembly. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the antenna module ground point to roof panel retaining bolt (2).
3. Remove the antenna module to roof panel retaining bolt (3).
4. Remove the retaining clip (1) securing the antenna module to the roof.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. From outside the vehicle, remove the antenna module and harness from the vehicle.

1. From outside the vehicle, install the antenna module and harness to the vehicle threading the harness through the cavity.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the retaining clip (1) securing the antenna module to the roof.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

4. Install the antenna module to roof panel retaining bolt (3).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

5. Install the antenna module ground point to roof panel retaining bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

6. Install the headlining trim assembly. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement

Radio Antenna Replacement Sportwagon

1. Remove the liftgate window upper garnish moulding. Refer to Liftgate Window Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.



2. Detach the radio antenna module electrical connector (1) by depressing the retaining clip (2).



3. Disconnect the radio antenna module electrical connector (1).



4. Remove the radio antenna module ground point to roof panel retaining bolt (2).
5. Remove the radio antenna module to roof panel retaining bolt (1).



6. From outside the vehicle, hold the radio antenna (1) to prevent from damaging paintwork when released.
7. Release the radio antenna module to liftgate retaining clips (2) .
8. Remove the radio antenna (1) from the vehicle.

1. From outside the vehicle, hold the radio antenna (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the radio antenna module to liftgate retaining clips (2) by threading through the cavity.



3. Install the radio antenna module to roof panel retaining bolt (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

4. Install the radio antenna module ground point to roof panel retaining bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).




5. Connect the radio antenna module electrical connector (1).



6. Install the radio antenna module electrical connector (1) onto the retaining clip (2).
7. Install the liftgate window upper garnish moulding. Refer to Liftgate Window Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
