Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the front dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1957186 Size: SH

    Important: Use a suitable tool to release the bluetooth microphone to dome lamp retaining clip (3) .

  3. Remove the bluetooth microphone (1) from the dome lamp (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1957186 Size: SH

    Important: Listen for an audible click to make sure the bluetooth microphone to dome lamp retaining clip (3) engages to avoid an induced rattle condition.

  1. Install the bluetooth microphone (1) to the dome lamp (2).
  2. Install the front dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
