Mode Valve Actuator Replacement LHD

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Retainer Replacement .



2. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector (1).



3. Remove the mode actuator (2) to HVAC unit retaining screws (1).
4. Remove the mode actuator (2) from the HVAC unit.

1. Install the mode actuator (1) to the HVAC unit.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the retaining screws (1) to mode actuator  (2)..

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the mode actuator.
4. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Retainer Replacement .
