Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1954135 Size: SH
  2. Remove the VSS bolt (2).
  3. Remove the VSS (1) from the rear extension housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1954135 Size: SH
  1. Install the VSS (1) to the rear extension housing.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the VSS bolt (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
