Draining Fluids and Oil Filter Removal L98, LS2

1. Remove the oil pan drain plug (1).
2. Drain the engine oil into an appropriate container.
3. Remove the engine oil filter (2).



4. Remove the right side rear engine block coolant drain hole plug and washer (1).

1. Remove the oil pan drain plug (430) with O-ring (429).



2. Remove the engine oil filter (437).



3. Remove the right side rear engine block coolant drain hole plug (146) with washer (145).



4. Remove the engine block coolant heater (114) with washer (115).
