Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Radiator Cap Removal Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the radiator cap.

    2. Object Number: 1963343 Size: SH

    Important: Place a suitable container underneath the vehicle to collect draining coolant.

  2. Release the LPG coolant hose clamps (3).
  3. Disconnect the LPG coolant hoses (1) from the 'T' fittings (2).

    4. Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  5. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  6. Remove the right front wheel house liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.

    7. Object Number: 1963345 Size: SH
  7. Remove the LPG coolant hose to body retaining clip (1).
  8. Release the LPG coolant hose clamps (3) at the LPG convertor (2).

    9. Important: Take care as coolant will leak when the LPG coolant hoses (4) are removed.

  9. Disconnect the LPG coolant hoses (4) from the LPG convertor (2).
  10. Remove the LPG coolant hoses (4) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1963345 Size: SH
  1. Position the LPG coolant hoses (4) to the vehicle.
  2. Fit LPG coolant hose clamps (3) to the LPG coolant hoses (4).
  3. Connect the LPG coolant hoses (4) to the LPG convertor (2).
  4. Secure the LPG coolant hose clamps (3).
  5. Secure the LPG coolant hose to body retaining clip (1).

    6. Object Number: 1963343 Size: SH
  6. Connect the LPG coolant hoses (1) to the LPG coolant hose (2) 'T' fittings.
  7. Secure the LPG coolant hose clamps (3) ensuring that the clamp fastens the hose to the 'T' fittings (2).
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling.
  9. Install the radiator cap.
  10. Inspect the cooling system for leaks.
  11. Install the right front wheel house liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  12. Install the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
