Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 1947003  Size: SH
  5. Remove the headlamp bracket (2) to front end module retaining bolts (1).
  6. Remove the headlamp bracket (2) from the front end module.

  7. Object Number: 1947001  Size: SH
  8. Remove the four bolts (1) that secure the headlamp assembly (2) to front end module.
  9. Gently tilt headlamp out and disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp assembly (2).
  10. Remove the headlamp assembly (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the headlamp assembly to the vehicle and connect the electrical connector.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1947001  Size: SH

    Important: Replace the upper headlamp retaining bolts.

  3. Install the four bolts (1) that secure the headlamp assembly (2) to the front end module.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4.5 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the headlamp bracket (2) to the front end module.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4.5 N·m (35 lb in).

  7. Install the headlamp bracket (2) to front end module retaining bolts (1).
  8. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  9. Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement
  10. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  11. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
  12. Adjust the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .
