Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Corner Trim Panel Carpet Replacement .
  3. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  4. Remove the batter tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 1937266 Size: SH
  6. From inside the rear compartment, press the retaining tabs (1) while pushing outward in order to release the pressure relief valve (2) from the rear quarter panel.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1937266 Size: SH
  1. Position the pressure relief valve (2) to the opening in the rear quarter panel.
  2. Press inward on the pressure relief valve until the retaining tabs (1) engage to secure the pressure relief valve (2) to the rear quarter panel.
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  4. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
  6. Install the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Corner Trim Panel Carpet Replacement .
  7. Install the rear compartment floor panel carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement .
