Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 2017829 Size: SH
  2. Remove the sump guard to engine cradle retaining bolts (1).
  3. Remove the sump guard (2) from the engine cradle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2017829 Size: SH
  1. Align the sump guard (2) with the engine cradle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the sump guard to engine cradle retaining bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 19  N·m (14 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
