Removal Procedure

    Important: Protect the paint and body work with tape or a clean cloth. Failure to do so may result in damage to the paint work.


    Object Number: 1991793 Size: SH
  1. To assist in the removal of the front fender emblem (1), warm the front fender emblem with a heat gun.

    2. Important: Take care not to damage the paint work when prying the front fender emblem from the fender.

  2. Use a suitable tool to carefully prise the front fender emblem from the fender.
  3. Remove any remaining adhesive from the fender and clean the surface with a suitable cleaning solution using a lint free cloth.

Installation Procedure

    Important: Use spec HN2021 or equivalent.

  1. If reusing the front fender emblem, clean the front fender emblem with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth.
    2. 1.1. Apply new polyethylene double sided tape to the back of the front fender emblem.
    1.2. Trim back the tape to the inner edge of the front fender emblem.

    Important: Do not allow the adhesive tape to come in contact with any dirt or foreign matter.

  2. Peel the backing from the adhesive tape.

  3. Apply the front fender emblem (1) to the position shown, measuring from the front side of the side turn signal lamp. Make sure the front fender emblem is centred with the side turn signal lamp.
  4. Firmly press the front fender emblem into place for 30 seconds to make sure proper adhesion of the front fender emblem.
