Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement in Doors.
  3. Remove the door garnish molding. Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1939878 Size: SH

    Important: Pry out the window inner sealing strip (1) then pull by hand to expose door applique retaining screws.

  4. Detach the rear part of the window inner sealing strip (1) from the door (2).

    5. Object Number: 1939877 Size: SH
  5. Remove the door applique to door retaining screws (1).

    6. Object Number: 1939879 Size: SH
  6. Remove the door applique (1) from the door (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1939879 Size: SH
  1. Position the door applique (1) to the door (2).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1939877 Size: SH
  2. Install the door applique to door retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N-m (27 lb in).

  3. Attach the rear part of the window inner sealing strip (1) to the door (2).
  4. Install the door garnish molding. Refer to Front and Rear Side Door Window Garnish Molding Replacement .
  5. Install the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement in Doors.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
