Removal Procedure - Manual Day/Night Adjustment
- Detach the rearview mirror (2) from the windshield mirror boss (1) by firmly pulling downward.
- Detach the rearview mirror (2) from the windshield mirror boss (1).
Important: The rearview mirror boss (1) is not serviced separately and is part of the windshield assembly.
Installation Procedure - Manual Day/Night Adjustment
- Slide the rearview mirror (2) downwards on the rearview mirror boss (1) until an audible click noise is heard.
- Install the rearview mirror (2) to the rearview mirror boss (1).
Removal Procedure - Electro-chromatic
- Remove the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) from the rearview mirror (2).
- Disconnect the rearview mirror electrical connector (1) from the rearview mirror (2).
- Detach the rearview mirror (2) from the windshield mirror boss (1).
- Remove the rearview mirror (2) from the vehicle.
Important: Remove the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) by sliding it upwards and outwards.
Important: Detach the rearview mirror (2) from the rearview mirror boss (1) by firmly pulling downward.

Installation Procedure - Electro-chromatic
- Install the rearview mirror (2) to the rearview mirror boss (1).
- Connect the rearview mirror electrical connector (1) to the rearview mirror (2).
- Install the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) to the rearview mirror (2).
Important: Slide the rearview mirror (2) downwards on the rearview mirror boss (1) until an audible click noise is heard.
Important: Install the rearview mirror cover (1) by sliding it inwards and downwards.
Removal Procedure - Telematic
- Remove the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) from the rearview mirror (2).
- Remove the rearview mirror retaining screw (2) from the rearview mirror (1).
- Disconnect the rearview mirror electrical connector (2) from the rearview mirror (1).
- Remove the rearview mirror (2) from the rearview mirror boss (1).
Important: Remove the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) by sliding it upwards and outwards.

Important: Remove the rearview mirror (2) by sliding it upwards.
Installation Procedure - Telematic
- Install the rearview mirror (2) to the rearview mirror boss (1).
- Connect the rearview mirror electrical connector (2) to the rearview mirror (1).
- Install the rearview mirror retaining screw (2) to the rearview mirror (1).
- Install the rearview mirror wiring harness cover (1) to the rearview mirror (2).
Important: Slide the rearview mirror (2) downwards on the rearview mirror boss (1).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 4 N-m (35 lb in).
Important: Install the rearview mirror cover (1) by sliding it inwards and downwards.
