  1. Disconnect the transaxle harness.
  2. Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 13 of the transaxle wiring connector. Refer to Component Resistance .

Is the resistance shown in the Component Resistance table?

  1. Disconnect the internal transaxle harness from the first solenoid valve.
  2. Measure the resistance of the first solenoid valve. Refer to Component Resistance .

Is the resistance shown in the Component Resistance table?

Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 13 of the second solenoid valve. Refer to Component Resistance .

  2. Measure the resistance of the second solenoid valve. Refer to Component Resistance .

Measure the resistance between terminals 5 and 6 the transaxle wiring connector (PCS 3). Refer to Component Resistance .

  1. Disconnect the internal transaxle harness from the pressure control valve 3, (PCS 3).
  2. Measure the resistance of the PCS 3. Refer to Component Resistance .

Measure the resistance between terminals 5 and 7 the transaxle wiring connector (PCS 4). Refer to Component Resistance .

  2. Measure the resistance of the PCS 4. Refer to Component Resistance .

  2. Measure the resistance of the transaxle temperature sensor. Refer to Component Resistance .

  1. Inspect the transaxle wiring for poor electrical connections at the transaxle.
  2. Look for possible bent, backed out, deformed of damaged terminals.
  3. Check for weak terminal tension.
  4. Replace the wiring or damaged terminal
