Removal Procedure
- Open the relevant door on the vehicle.
- Remove the body side roof drip moulding to fender retaining screw (1).
- Disengage the body side roof drip moulding retaining clip (2) from the quarter panel window moulding (1).
Important: Carefully remove the roof drip moulding. Failure to do so will result in damage to the roof drip moulding.
Important: Take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle when removing the body side roof drip moulding (3) from the body.
Important: Carefully pull the body side roof drip moulding (3), downwards starting from the front of the vehicle, by pulling the body side roof drip moulding downwards the retaining clips (4) will disengage from the body.
Installation Procedure
- Clean the roof drip gutter with a suitable cleaning solution, using a lint free cloth. Inspect the body side roof drip moulding retaining clips (2 and 4) for damage, replace any damaged retaining clips as required.
- Install the body side roof drip moulding (3) to the body by pushing the retaining clips (4) firmly into position.
- Install the body side roof drip moulding to fender retaining screw (1).
- Close the relevant door on the vehicle.
Important: Install the body side roof drip moulding (3) to the quarter window moulding (2) by sliding the body side roof drip moulding rearwards into the quarter panel window moulding (2) until the clip engages into the body side roof drip moulding retaining clip (1).
Important: Make sure to align all the body side roof drip moulding retaining clips (4) to the body correctly.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
