DTC Descriptors
DTC B101E 42: ECU Software Performance Calibration Data Set Not ProgrammedCircuit/System Description
When the ignition is turned ON, the radio performs a self test to verify if any critical malfunction exists within the system. Once the power-up is completed, the radio establishes communications with the body control module (BCM). During the power-up mode the radio checks for a valid calibration data set. If no valid calibration set is found the radio disables the system.
Conditions for Running the DTC
| • | Ignition is in ON or ACCY |
| • | The system voltage is at least 9.5 volts and no more than 15.5 volts. |
| • | All the above conditions are present for greater than 10 seconds. |
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The calibration data set is not programmed in the radio.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
Radio functions are disabled
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
| • | A current DTC clears when the conditions for setting the DTC are no longer present. |
| • | A history DTC clears after 50 malfunction-free ignition cycles. |
