To provide easy access to the storage area located behind the front seats, this vehicle is fitted with a seat dump latch on both the driver, and passenger seats. On the driver's seat, the seat dump latch is located on the door side of the seat, at the base of the seat back. On the passenger seat, a seat dump latch has been provided at the base of the seat back, on both sides of the seat. This allows activation of the passenger seat dump latch via the passenger side of the vehicle, or the drivers seating position.

Seat Dump Latch Activation

To fold either the driver, or passenger seats forward, pull the seat dump latch lever towards the front of the vehicle, grasp and push the seat back towards the dashboard. The seat back will lean forward. To return the seat back to its upright position, grasp the seat back and push it rearwards until it the dump latch audibly engages the seat back in the upright position. "Jiggle" the seat back slightly to ensure the dump latch has engaged, securing the seat back in the upright position.
