Body Control Module Replacement RHD

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

2. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
3. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
4. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
5. Remove the instrument panel retainer. Refer to Instrument Panel Retainer Replacement .



6. Disconnect the body control module (BCM) electrical connectors (1) from the BCM (2).




Important: Release the lower retaining clips (1), lift the BCM and unhook the upper retaining clip (2).

7. Remove the BCM (3).

Important: Locate the upper retaining clip (2) and engage the lower retaining clips (1).

1. Install the BCM (3).



2. Connect the body control module (BCM) electrical connectors (1) to the BCM (2).
3. Install the instrument panel retainer. Refer to Instrument Panel Retainer Replacement .
4. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
5. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
7. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
8. Re-programme the (BCM). Refer to Body Control Module Programming and Setup .
