High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement Except HSV Maloo

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

Important: If the high mounted stop lamp LED's are faulty and do not illuminate, the high mounted stop lamp must be replaced.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the rear header trim. Refer to Roof Panel Rear Applique Replacement .



3. Using a suitable tool, disengage the high mounted stop lamp to rear header trim retaining clips (1).
4. Remove the high mounted stop lamp (2) from the rear header trim (3).

Important: Listen for an audible click from the high mounted stop lamp to rear header trim retaining clips (1) to confirm correct fitment.

1. Install the new high mounted stop lamp (2) to the header trim (3).
2. Install the rear header trim. Refer to Roof Panel Rear Applique Replacement .
3. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement HSV Maloo

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the centre high mounted stop light screws (1) from the vehicle body (2).
3. Remove the centre high mounted stop lamp (3) from vehicle body (2).
4. Disconnect the centre high mount stop lamp electrical connector (4).

1. Connect the centre high mount stop lamp electrical connector (4).
2. Install the centre high mounted stop lamp (3) into the vehicle body (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the centre high mounted stop light screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the centre high mounted stop light retainer screws to 2.0  N·m (18 lb in).

4. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
5. Check the light for correct operation.
