    Important: If uneven tyre wear is evident, the reason for the wear should be corrected.

    Important: If the tyres are rotated, it is recommended that the tyre and wheel assembly balance be checked at the same time.

  1. It is recommended that tyre rotation be carried out when brake inspections are performed, as per the service schedule outlined in the Owner's Handbook, or when:
  2. Difference in tread depth between front and rear tires exceed 1.55 mm.

    When any unusual tyre wear pattern develops.

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Important: Note the location of each tyre and wheel assembly in relation to the original position on the vehicle.

  5. Remove the tyre and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  6. Rotate the tyre and wheel assemblies as shown in the following diagrams.

  8. Install the tyre and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  9. Remove the safety stands.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Check and adjust the tyre inflation pressure. Refer to Tire Inflation Pressure Specifications .
