Tools Required

| • | J 44765 Seal Installer |
| • | J 39546 Bearing Race Installer |
| • | J 39437 Bushing Installer |
- Install the mainshaft bearing race (1), using the J 39546 (2) and the J 8092 (3).
- Install the mainshaft bearing race to extension housing retainer ring (1).
- Install a NEW output shaft seal to the extension housing using the J 44765 .
- Apply an approved sealant to the transmission case drain plug.
- Install the transmission case drain plug (1) to the extension housing.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the plug to 18 N·m (13 Ib ft).
