(1) Drive Belt Inspection

    • 2.4L: Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 2 years and replace 75 000 km (46,000 miles).
    • 3.2L: Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 2 years and replace every 60 000 km (36,000 miles).
    • 2.0L Diesel: Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 2 years and replace every 90 000 km (54,000 miles) or 5 years.

(2) Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations

(3) If a vehicle is operated under severe conditions: short distance driving, extensive idling or driving in dusty conditions, change engine oil and the filter more frequently than is recommended in the standard maintenance.

(4) Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 1 year and replace every 240 000 km (148,000 miles) or 5 years.

(5) Inspect every 15 000 km (9,000 miles) or 6 months if under dusty driving conditions. If necessary, correct, clean, or replace.

(6) Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 2 years and replace every 90 000 km (54,000 miles) or 6 years.

(13) Change the engine oil immediately if the change oil lamp illuminates in the instruments cluster.

(14) Replace every 15 000 km (9,000 miles) or 1 year.

(15) Inspect every 15 000 km (9,000 miles) or 1 year and replace 45 000 km (27,000 miles) or 2 years.

(16) Inspect every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 2 years and replace every 120 000 km (72,000 miles).

(7) Replace every 15 000 km (9,000 miles) or 1 year. More frequent maintenance is required if under dusty driving conditions.

(8) Change the brake fluid every 2 years if the vehicle is mainly driven under severe conditions:

    • Driving in hilly or mountainous terrain
    • Towing a trailer frequently

(9) More frequent maintenance is required if under severe conditions: short distance driving, extensive idling, frequent low-speed operation in stop and go traffic or driving in dusty conditions.

(10) The transaxle fluid change is not required. Also, routine inspection of the fluid is not required. Transaxle fluid inspection is only required if there is a symptom indicating a concern with the fluid.

(11) Tire condition should be inspected before driving and tire pressure should be checked each time you fill your fuel tank or at least once a month using a tire pressure gauge.

(12) If necessary, rotate and balance wheels.

(2) If a vehicle is operated under severe conditions: short distance driving, extensive idling or driving in dusty conditions, change engine oil and the filter every 5 000 km (3,000 miles) or 3 months, whichever comes first.

(3) Inspect the engine coolant every 6 months or 10 000 km (6,000 miles) and replace it every 5 years or 240 000 km (150,000 miles).

(4) Inspect the air cleaner element every 5 000 km (3,000 miles) or 3 months if under dusty driving conditions. If necessary, correct, clean, or replace.

(5) 2.4L: Replace every 120 000 km (72,000 miles).

(11) Replace every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) or 1 year.

(12) Replace the spark plugs every 120 000 km (72,000 miles).

(13) Inspect the timing belt every 30 000 km (18,000 miles) replace it every 90 000 km (54,000 miles).

(14) Replace every 140 000 km (84,000 miles).
