Front Bumper Fascia Replacement C 100/Long Body

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the bolts from the front wheel well splash shields.



3. Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
4. Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connector.



5. Remove the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .
6. Remove the upper fascia retainers.



7. Remove the front fascia from the front fender by pulling the side of the fascia outward.
8. Remove the front fascia from the vehicle.

1. Install the front fascia to the vehicle.
2. Install the side of the front fascia on the front fender.



3. Install the upper fascia retainers.
4. Install the grille. Refer to Grille Replacement .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




5. Install the lower fascia bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the lower fascia bolts to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).

6. Connect the fog lamp electrical connector.
7. Install the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .



8. Install the bolts on the front wheel well splash shields.

Tighten
Tighten the splash shield bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Front Bumper Fascia Replacement C 105/Short Body

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the bolts and the retainers from the left and right front wheel well splash shields.



3. Remove the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
4. Remove the bolts on the bottom of the left and right front wheel well splash shields.



5. Remove the radiator cover (2).
6. Remove the headlamps (1). Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
7. Disconnect the connector of the front object sensor wiring harness, if equipped.



8. Remove the front fascia retainers.



9. Remove the front fascia from the front fender by pulling the side of the fascia outward.
10. Remove the front fascia from the vehicle.

1. Install the front fascia to the vehicle.
2. Install the retainers on the front fascia to prevent fascia falling down to the floor.



3. Install the side of the front fascia on the front fender.
4. Connect the connector of the front object sensor wiring harness, if equipped.



5. Install the headlamps (1). Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
6. Install the radiator cover (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




7. Install the front bolts of the left and right front splash shields.

Tighten
Tighten the front splash shield bolts to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).

8. Install the engine shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .



9. Install the bolts and retainers on the left and right front wheel well splash shields.

Tighten
Tighten the splash shield bolts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

10. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
