This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers about the correct usage of the wheel mounting nut.
Some dealers may be installing the incorrect mounting nut. Some dealers may be installing a wheel nut for the 16/17/18 inch alloy wheel to the 16 inch steel wheel. These wheel mounting nuts are not interchangeable.
An incorrectly installed wheel nut may result in excessive load to the wheel mounting nut holes or the hub stud bolts. Make sure that the correct wheel mounting nut is used for the proper application.
