Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 766635  Size: SH
  1. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the sunshade stop screw (1) from the sunshade track (3).
  3. To remove the sunshade stop (2), press the sunshade stop locking tab in and slide sunshade stop out of the sunshade track  (3).

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the sunshade stop (2) to the sunshade track (3).
  2. Press the sunshade stop (2) into the sunshade track (3) until fully seated.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the sunshade stop screw (1) to the sunshade track (3).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
