BLOWER MOTOR FAILS TO RUN CHANGE MODE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

SUBJECT: BLOWER MOTOR FAILS TO RUN (CHANGE SWITCH)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 SOMERSET 1987-90 SKYLARK

CONDITION:

--------- There have been comments received that the blower motor fails to turn on.

CAUSE:

----- The cause has been found to be failed electrical contacts inside the mode switch assembly located in the control head assembly. (Figure 1)

CORRECTION:

---------- This condition may be corrected by changing the mode switch assembly in the control head with a new switch P/N 22567340. (Figure 2)

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
