2.5L ENGINE BLOCK REPLACEMENT OIL FILTER VALVE TRANSFER

Models Affected: 1980-1986 Vehicles Equipped with 2.5L L-4 Engine (Vin Code R)

Whenever a repair requires replacement of the engine block, it will be necessary to remove the oil filter bypass valve assembly and reinstall it in the new block. If a new oil filter by pass check valve assembly is required, it will be necessary to order Part Number 25010497 through WDDGM. Refer to Illustration.
