REAR MAIN OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT INFORMATION

THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTION SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN APPLYING SEALER TO THE LOWER REAR MAIN CAP AREA ON SUBJECT ENGINES: APPLY A 2MM BEAD OF ANEROBIC SEALANT(PART NO. 1052357)OR EQUIVALENT TO THE BEARING CAP AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 22. KEEP SEALANT OFF THE SEAL, BEARING, AND OUT OF DRAIN SLOT.
